The Ninja RPG: Leveling Up Your Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu Stats!

Perfecting your stats in the Ninja RPG are a must, and not always easy. Each time you level up a specific offense or defense you will gain extra Chakra or Stamina, if you level up Genjutsu or Ninjutsu then you’ll add extra amounts of Chakra to your pool, if you level up Taijutsu you’ll add stamina, and Weapon will add to both. So that being said, how do you effectively level up any one specific strength or defense?

You only want to have one offensive focus, this is very important. Whatever you choose as your offensive focus, you’ll have to make up for the gain to that particular pool by leveling up your defenses. For example, lets say you want to become a Taijutsu master. That’s great, but you’ll have to work hard to make sure your Chakra stays up to par so you can use specific jutsu relating to your Tai attacks. This means you’ll have to really level up your Gen and Ninjutsu defensive skills. So by working on leveling up a Taijutsu offense, and leveling up a Genjutsu and Ninjutsu defense you’ll keep your pool balanced.

The same is true if you choose a Chakra bases attribute like Genjutsu or Ninjutsu as your primary offense. If this is the case you’ll need to focus more on leveling up your Taijutsu defense to compensate for the lack in Stamina gain. This can prove a bit difficult because where there are two Charkra building skills, there is only one Stamina building skill, and thus making it harder to maintain even pools.

No matter what you do you’ll end up getting your Chakra and Stamina out of balance one way or another, and that’s okay, but you’ll need to compensate. This is where Weapon defense comes into play. A lot of ninja in the Ninja RPG have chosen to become Weapon Masters. There are a lot of advantages to this path, but that’s beside the point, you need to be ready to face them by having a very high Weapon Defense.

By leveling your weapon defense you’ll evenly split your stamina and chakra gain between the two pools. This will ensure an overall gain no matter what specific skill you’re looking to improve upon. This is also very effective because Weapon attacks care every powerful and those who are Weapon Masters will have an abundance of strength. That’s why it’s always a really good idea to keep your weapon defense above all other defenses.

Remember to use all your Chakra and Stamina as often as possible because the more you use it the more you gain overall. Using Chakra and Stamina will also gain you much needed experience that will allow you to advance levels quickly. A ninja in this game will be most effective when he or she is able to go for a prolonged period of time, like around 8 hours, and not have replenished their Stamina and Chakra pools. This is because you would level up your stats, go to sleep, work, or school and then come home and then level up again without any wasted time.

One last tip as to leveling up stats is to buy a house as soon as possible. The Large home is a good idea because it’s not terribly expensive, and adds +10 to your regeneration. This is so important to getting your ninjas stats back to full quickly. So with a good home, and large pools of both Chakra and Stamina you should have no problem leveling up your stats and be yet another step closer to your ultimate goal, wither it be Hokage, or worlds most feared Outlaw!

Breaking Down the Character Alignment System: Neutral Evil

Neutral evil characters are the sort who will do whatever serves their own best interests. As far as they are concerned, that is all that matters. It doesn’t matter what they need to do in order to do it, that’s what will be done.

Interestingly enough, it’s this alignment that gets dubbed as “true evil”. Whereas you would think that “chaotic evil” would take that spot. I suppose it’s similar to how “neutral good” could arguably be seen as “true good” as opposed to “lawful good”.

The flavors of neutral evil characters vary. Some are just egomaniacs who see themselves as above any sense of morals or laws (though they will often use said laws when it suits them to do so). Others are just amoral. They aren’t malicious, they just don’t care one way or the other. You can also come across more actively evil characters who still work to serve their own interests, but know full well that what they are doing is wrong and choose to do it anyway.

Both Marvel and DC Comics have major villains that fall under this category in Wilson Fisk (aka The Kingpin) and Lex Luthor. Both are corrupt businessmen who do what they need to in order to get more power. They will break the law without remorse, but they will also manipulate that same law in order to get out of trouble.

Spider-Man’s nemesis, the Green Goblin, also fits this bill as the Goblin persona often makes a point to do things that will improve Norman’s status. Of course, Norman isn’t the most moral of people on a good day, but that element of his fractured psyche takes it to a whole new level.

Another excellent example of a neutral evil is Alex Krycek from The X-Files. He worked with and betrayed just about everyone in the show over the course of the series depending on what his goals were at that time.

South Park’s Eric Cartman is also a pretty solid example of a neutral evil character. He uses chaotic elements as well as more lawful elements on a whim in order to manipulate people into helping him accomplish his goals.

In a more general sense, a lot of hit-men and con men fall under this category as they generally do what they do for profit and make a point to say that it’s only business.

Neutral evil is a tough alignment to maintain in a tabletop group as other members are often heroic people doing heroic things. As such, it becomes tough to figure out a way to maintain the alliance with the group without becoming too heroic.

They can make for compelling characters, though. Even if it is tough to pull off in role playing, they are fun to watch or read about.

World of Warcraft: How to Make a Fire Mage

Talent Tree: The Talent Tree is what makes each mage special in a certain area. In order to be a fire mage, you will have most, if not all, of your talent points in the fire tree. It is very important to make sure you know what you are doing while inserting these points. Make sure you are aware of what each talent does and that those talents will be useful while you are casting and trying to burn someone alive. If you end up making a mistake and want to adjust your talent points, it will cost gold. This cost can range from a simple 10 gold charge to a hefty penalty of 200 gold. If you want, you can pay 1000 gold to have dual talents that you can simply switch back and forth from. When people do this, they usually have one PVP type talent tree set up and one PVE Talent tree set up.

Now in order to be a fire mage you will need to even out your talents within fire and the other two trees. Follow this easy guide and you will be burning enemies into ash.

Fire Mage Talents:

Fire – The main target is to get the most damage you can out of your fire spells as fast as you can. Using scorch will help you get some fast critical hits and damage on your enemies and if you put points into improved scorch, you will add a critical chance strike on each enemy. Make sure to acquire the spells Pyroblast, Blastwave, Combustion, Dragons Breath, and Living Bomb. These are in your fire talent tree and will improve the amount of damage you can do in a single battle.

Arcane – The best fire mages have anywhere from 10-20 points in their Arcane talent tree. The most important talent to acquire in this tree is the Arcane Concentration. This enables you to have a mana free cast from time to time. If you can get to the Spell Impact talent it will increase the damage done by some of your fire spells as well.

Frost – This talent tree can be very useful to some fire mages. I, however, choose not to use it. Some fire mages use it for the Icy Veins talent. This talent allows you to cast spells faster and doesn’t allow any damage taken to impact the casting time of your spells.

Glyphs: Glyphs are a new part of World of Warcraft. They can be added to give you special aspects that will improve your spells or your overall characters ability. The two major glyphs that the fire mage will need are the Glyph of evocation and the Glyph of Scorch. The Glyph of Evocation will heal your health while regenerating your mana. The Glyph of scorch will stack scorches ability five times per one cast, which makes it very useful in PVP battles.
